The turtle-wax stuff? Used it on my suburban. It was liquid, and it looked like I was working on a car when I was done.. (black wax)
it works pretty well though imo

I've used red, blue, and green (not on my car though) and have had problems with swirl marks with the blue and green. They come right out with the next coat of regular wax though, so don't be afraid to try it. What the wax is really good at is hiding clear coat chips in the hood which usually end up looking white after regular wax.

My wife'* old Grand Prix was a black 1988 with badly cracked paint. We used the black wax on it and it definitely helped the appearance, but it didn't last terribly long. Eventually we had the entire car repainted.
And yeah, it turns your hands black, so maybe wear rubber gloves.
