Rear rims compared to Front rims
I was wondering what you guys thought about having the front rims smaller in width than the rear rims, I know on our front wheel drive cars it wouldn't make sense. But I love the more agressive stance an was looking to improve the styling on the GXP. What do you guys think?

I'm not a big fan of smaller wheels in front myself, but I really can't see it on a Bonneville since it already has the aggressive slope of the wedge styling.

For looks.. sure.. I think it would look great.
For traction.. mmm nope.
I guess you could swap back and forth for asthetics or functionality.

The car body on your GXP already has it'* own built in rake, But I certainly would NOT do smaller tires upfront. It'll hydroplane easier, lose traction turning much easier. Emergency avoidance would be affected, braking, inclimate weather situations, etc..
You're messing with Front > Rear grip levels, on a fwd sedan designed for the masses. It'* got enough understeer dialed into the chassis already so the old farts don't kill themselves in a turn.

Narrower tires hydroplane less easily than wide tires with the same tread pattern. It'* all about load distribution. But I think he'* asking about putting wider tires on the back, not narrowing the tires on the front.

Thats correct. J wikoff. Would there be any issues besides rotating tires and such. I would actually like a little bigger lip on the rear tires to give it a aggressive stance.
