clear corners with pictures

It's finally nice enough outside to clean the car and take pictures. I just finished the front headlights the other day and i was wondering how much harder is it to clear the back? I know you have to be careful cutting into the taillight, but what other things should i worry about?

Looks great, totally makes the front end look so much better. Which is why I think so many people do it. ;)

I did my tails and headlights. The only difference is the tails are kinda a PITA. Just go slow and steady on the cutting, and you'll finally get the amber out. This is one of those jobs where patience is the key.

When I finally got it cut out enough to open the lens, I used a pair of pliers to pull the actual amber piece out. It took some persuasion but it'll come eventually. The center piece on the trunk is a lot easier to do. That might be the best part to start with as it's pretty straight forward.

I bought a spare tail light off of eBay to practice on. I figured I'd mess it up, and would rather have a spare to break than my own. I actually ended up putting the spare one on my car because it turned out perfectly fine.

Before I did mine, I did a thorough search on it. With all the threads going around about doing it I felt pretty confident to tackle my own.

Here's the thread on me doing mine (front and rear), it might help you out:

nice ride.
good choice on color and body style...

Ten is mostly correct, I prefer the NA look on mine. The only lens I didn't like was the 92-95 lenses I hated the half amber/clear look.

color of the car and preference is the motivator on those.

Thanks for all your guys are awsome. And on a side note, i have been thinking about painting the wheels like a gloss black with some of that duplicolor wheel paint. I don't have the money to buy new wheels so i figured that would be that next best step. I'll keep everyone informed when i get to hopefully sometime in the next month or so. Thanks again for the support.

I wanted to do that to my wheels, but didnt because you gotta sand the surface and its impossible to get everywhere on my im savin for some new wheels

I'm thinking about going to the junk yard and looking for a wheel like mine for cheap to test it out on before i attempt my own wheels. I know it will be some work to get it to look right but for the price of a couple cans of paint to the money it would cost for new wheels, i think it will be worth it.
