Basically yes. Everyone around here does. Or has them tinted so dark u can't even see them. Cops around here don't really care.

All you would really need to do is get a pair of normally closed relays, wire them in line with the circuit that goes each front marker light, and have the trigger wired to the power source for the hid'*. You will still have blinkers, you will still have amber park lights in front, but when the HID'* come on, it triggers the relays, and breaks the circuit to only the front park lights. Problem solved. Now I don't know which wires are which on that gen of bonne, so I will let the experts take it from there if you want to do that.

If he doesn't want to ever use the park lights, that would be the way to go. But I am a very safety conscious guy, and wouldn't want that.

The blinkers wouldn't work then when the HIDs are on would they?

to put the relays in he will already have to cut the power for the parking lights somewhere and add a relays and wiring, I can't think of a time where parking lights would be necessary without having headlights on because with the relay setup if the headlights are on then he has no parking lights

I would just make it simple for myself and cut the wires then use butt connectors to put it back if necessary

SamZgxp has what are called switchbacks. They are LED'* that put out a 6000k equivelant white light and blink orange. Best of both worlds

That is a happy medium. I'm thinking cutting the wire or a relay is going to end you with having the turn signal lights on the dash permanently on, no?
