Scratches in paint/Minor dents in rear pass. door
Even after waxing and buffing the ride numerous times with numerous waxes, my car still has a few but sometimes noticable (if you're looking for them) scratches and streaks in its paint. Probably from the previous owner not chamoising off the car properly or just from being scratched and stuff.
Also, the rear passenger door on my car was hit by a hit-and-run jerk. There are a few dents that are about the size of a normal door ding and a somewhat deep scratch in it'* paint.
Any suggestions on helping remove these?
Thanks a lot,
Chris

u most likely don't need new paint..........just get some meguiars professional products.....LIKE the dual action cleaner/polish and a machine polisher/buffer......or even some swirl remover.......the megs pro line has tons of options......
wax isn't made to fill in scratches/remove swirls.....

P.*. if i need a new paint job what is usualy the price for a decent plane black paint job w/o clear coat.

If you can still see the base color in the scratch, this means the scratch is in the clear coat paint only, and then you will need to polish the area and wax after polishing. I have had great success with a Porter Cable, PC, 7336sp random orbital buffer and Einszett polishes.
I would take the car to a good body shop and get an estimate to remove the dings.
