My tails where a mess, & I got quoted about $700 from GM. Only solution I could find was to tint them (for now). Im not a big fan, but it beats all the white spots I had.

the pics where taken around 6pm so there was no bright sun. around 1pm they dont look as black.

I did not do them myself, had a bodyshop do them. The gloss will last a long time since they have a clearcoat. I did it myself to a Ford Escort I had & the shine started to go away in less than a year. Maby I did it wrong or something, but this time I left it to profesinals.

Mine are still glossy. Most of us use clearcoat.

Damn...that looks GOOD. I never thought about getting a body shop to do it. But it deffinitly looks professional and gorgeous. Nicely done.
