As some of you know this is for my buddy SlickBonney...Finally got the paint and clear done. Just put down the last coat of clear! BEFORE WET SAND OR BUFF

So is the hood cut out under it to make it a real cowl hood, or is it non-functional?

We're going to be cutting it out...in these pix its still Non Functional! Slick Bonny is getting an Intercooler which is why we did this hood for him. So it will be functional!

I agree that it looks great and will give the car a more aggressive look, but how big of an intercooler are you getting? A couple cars on here are running full size IC'* with the stock hood sans insulation. But hey, if that'* the excuse you had to use to get a sick hood, more power to you.

I agree that cutting it out would help a bit especially if you have a high-speed fan override (my hood vents have proven the combination works), but I don't see how the intercooler factors into this.

You don't need the clearance, and it won't affect post-rotor manifold temps.
