Default Same as Liquid glass?

My local autoparts store has TR-3 Resin Glaze Polish for about $6.00. Must be a closeout. Is this the same or similar to the highly touted Liquid glass? Anyone have any experience with this product? Here is a url: http://www.amazon.com/TR-3-Clear-Res.../dp/B0002ZB7MI

Sounds like it would be applied similar, but I don't know how good it is.

This would be something good to put on, let cure, and then put a coat of wax over.

The TR3 resin glaze is older technology. There are a lot of better products on the market today. LG is one of the products.

You could try it on an older car or a panel off of a car to see if you like it for use on your car. I have never used this product but have read that it is really hard to remove from your car. It was originally developed for single stage paint not clear coat paint as advertised.

Anyway the cost is very little for you to try and see if you like it.

Thanks, my car is a 1992 metalic garnet red with clearcoat. I am not sure if I want to try it. Sounds like it is a PITA to remove and my clearcoat is in reasonable shape. I want a product to even out the clearcoat and help cover some of my scratch repair. Sounds like I will need to go with Liquid glass.

I just did a search on Autopia. It sounds like it is a decent product, and not hard to use. You need to put it on and leave it for two hours. Then you buff it off, and it should be kept dry for 24 hours so it can cure.

Or head toward the Zaino line up.

After Tom worked over my 9 year old beat up and down the block paint.. I was accused of repainting the car

Polishing is really the key to a high gloss or deep shine. LG is the sealant of choice by many on this site and to its credit works really well. I like a few others on the BC use Zaino and like it a lot. Cost is high for Zaino but the product works better than advertised. I put LG into this category as well. Both work well.
