Default Bugs, Bugs, Bugs on my front end!

How do you all get rid of the bugs on the fronts of your cars?

i scrub and scrub and it seems like they never come off.

i looked through the history and could not find a post on this.

thanks,

Clay bar. . .

and if all else fails (although I have never done it on a car I own, 409 will take just about anything off)

The best trick I found to take bugs off is window cleaner, like windex and a bug scrubber. Don't let the bugs sit on your car too long, they tend to become bake on the longer they sit there. [/img]

A little Warning. Don't get a Bra on your 2000+ bonnevillle. The aluminum hood has special primer, and it kinda sucks when a leather bra is ontop of it.

Otherwise get a good sponge, and put some elbow grease in it!

Bug and tar remover. This will also take off paint scrapes if someone happens to accidently swap paint (or kids paintball your car).

Bug and tar is good for removing those swapped paint areas. Done that a few times after getting pissed in parking lots....

I 2nd that.... really good product.

I find that if you've got tough bug juice, you'll need to scrub a bit.
But for mild stuff, I find you can just spray it on and easily wipe or rinse it off.

I bought a used bonne and we have a bad problem here in the south with BUGS they will take paint off.Advanced auto doesn't carry touch up paint. Not in dark cherry anyway. I have little chips and being dark cherry they shows easy. My question being ....Where can I get touch up paint and how to apply it.It'* not bad. I know its not a show car but, she sure is pretty when cleaned up. Just like me!

I'll second that. Both the '93 and the 2000 had bras on it. On both cars the front needs to be repainted and refinished in direct result from the bra.
