Chrome Interior Door Handles
Hey Guys! A previous '96 SE owner here, and now a '02 Aurora owner Some of you may remember me, but I wanted to let you guys know about something that I think would be a cool idea for an interior mod for you guys.
Your interior door handles in your Bonnes, as far as I know, are a dark plastic. The Aurora comes with chrome finish handles. Since the cars are fairly identical (both are G bodies right?), has anyone ever thought of swapping out the handles from the Aurora for chrome ones? I think it would be a nice touch in your cars.
I just replaced the drivers handle in my Aurora (it was heavily scratched from the previous owner from her nails!) and it was VERY easy to do, it took all of 15 minutes and that included taking the door panel off and then back on.
The handles are about $18 a piece through GMPD or Partszoneonline.com. Make sure you order either the gray or beige part # (depending upon your interior color of course) from the Aurora. The beige interior on the Aurora is called "Neutral".
I know some of you may roll your eyes and say "Big deal, my door handles work fine" but I thought it was a nice classy touch to the inside of the car.
See y'all later

yep. GM thought of this too fortunately and added them to the Bonneville in 2003 after the Aurora was discontinued. They also started using the Aurora'* seats in the Bonneville the same year along with a few other interior parts. Have you joined the Aurora forums yet?

Edit: Just saw some Bonnes on EBay, and the '03-'05s did not have the chrome door handles with the exception of the GXP??? Checked SSEis and SLEs....
