Armorall Wash Wax & Protect Review

3 Attachment(s)
I have for years been using Armorall Car Wash Concentrate which by all means works well and is about $6 per bottle until today.
I can Thank member 2k2cse, Travis as his Allure shined like crazy, and I had thought he had waxed the heck out of it. In fact all he used was the Armorall Wash wax & Protect on his ride.
So I had to try it out myself at $18 per bottle, I wondered if it would be worth it read on... Link To Travis's ride and photo #36:https://www.gmforum.com/your-ride-gm...-306624/page4/

SO..at the hand wash bay out comes the stuff wanting to try a sponge & put a little on...

What can I say this stuff is slippery!! Way more so than the other concentrate I was using before.
If you have kids, and plan on doing any water slide home events this summer, watch the excitement as the kids hit warp drive while using this product for sure!:)
How does it clean, very well indeed. I had some heavy stuck on road dirt on the lower door panels and it came clean with a bit of effort.
What really surprised me is how well the water sheets off the paint after rinsing..exceptional actually. I don't think you will have too many water spots using this product!
So after a sponge bath and a rinse, I hit the hwy to dry the car. What I noticed is after it was dry and wanted to power down the windows is, they actually slid down real quickly..wow! :D
Shine is very good as expected as it does have Brazilian Carnauba wax in it as well.

One thing I did notice is that the paint was much smoother now after the bath. I think this wash removed fine particles better.

I also rate this product :thumbup2 :thumbup2 UP!! :)

Looks good!

Bottle looks like it belongs in the shower right next to the Axe body wash.

Good stuff Art, reminds me I am due a waxing soon, I'll have to make an appointment at Arts Wash & Wax to get it done! lol

Whenever I do mine I'll have to hand dry it though, as I don't have any of that wash and wax, but I do have some Mothers wax left, I think that is what it is anyway, I have not used it in so long I forget what it is. :o

Good review Art, thanks!

i get bad water spots when i wash at my house, i might have to try that. i have tried some of the other water spot stuff and it doesnt seem to help

Soft Ride 06-09-2014 12:57 PM

Ya Justin I was at a car wash with warm water/power washer, so I am not sure how much it will help, if you have hard water though.
Would like to hear if you do try it though!
