Anybody ever try this stuff?
|
Looks pretty good. Too bad my windows are already tinted.
|
How good do you think this stuff would be?
|
Tint is one of those few things I'd actually leave to a professional. I've seen far too many DIY tint jobs turn to hell. Besides, if anything ever goes wrong you don't have to wait for another package in the mail. Just take it back to the shop, and it's finished.. Plus, you can see all the different type/qualities of tint first hand.

yup i made a post about this before.
they seem like good stuff. iv been thinking about getting some for my car http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=65082

the reason why its like $200+ at tint shops is not because of the price of the tint, its the Labor ;) |
I'm guessing the rear window would be a bitch.... The sides shouldn't be too bad.
|
yes the rear i would say it would be a real PITA sense it curves a lot.
but with a heat gun it makes it easier ;) |
prior to having my windows professionally tinted, I bought a "Do It Yourself" kit off ebay with "Easy Pre-cut tint" and after getting extremely annoyed trying to install that shit I said fuck it, I pay to get someone else to do it. I 'm getting mad just talking about again

I just had my windows tinted by a professional on sunday, he charged me $180 for the 4 doors and the rear...i thought that was a good deal, not to mention he did a hell of a job..I put some DIY tint in a truck that we used to have, and it turned out not so good...i would bite it and pay to have it done professionally.
