A little while ago I posted about my car having roof leaks on the passenger side, enough to soak the floor and seat with a decent amount of rain (floor especially). After examining the sunroof drains and door seals, I finally found the leak- it's where the windshield meets the roof on that side. What do I do to fix THAT :?

you could do it cheap and use some silicone to fill the hole

i have no idea, its what i would try first if i had this problem, but i wouldnt gurantee any..

im sure the smarter members will chime in soon and tell you what they think ;)

I WOULDN'T use silicone, it wont last and wont look good.

take it to a auto glass shop have them pull the glass clean it up (make sure theres no loos rust) then have it reinstalled

should be cheap considering its only Labor and no glass

You risk breaking the window by pulling it out.

Make sure they garuntee that they'll replace it if they break it.

good point, make sure you go someware that you know the guy doing it has LOTS of experiance, a friend of mine needed it done with his and we aske dthe guy at work that does glass and he said there was no way he could take it out without breaking it. we both thought that to be BS so we went to a friend of mine that has 15+ years experiance and he said he could do it without breaking it and only hacks cant do it without breakage :roll:

Heck, I didn't break mine, And it was my first time!
