The Absorber

Spent 21 dollars today because i felt like trying a new product...
what a waste of money, its in the garbage in the garage now...it doesnt dry for crap, it left micro water spots all over my car...
I guess you cant beat the waterblade.

I LOVE the absorber! I've had one for YEARS. It works very well IMO, it's strong, washable, and holds a lot of water. And IMO probably safer for the paint.

I pay $9-10 though...you paid $21!

EDIT: Send it to me if you're going to throw it out!

21$ I paid $6 for mine. Anyways after i wash it i just go through the dryer and get the rest off with a mircofiber.

I've been using one for a long time also. It does alright especially when ya wash before sunrise. Ya don't have to worry about any spots that way :D

sorry you dont like it Matt, But I have to disagree.
The Absorber works fantastic. I guess ya just have to know how to use it.

no way am I dragging a rubber blade across my paint.

I used to use the Absorber when it first came out, I never had problems with it other than getting smelly when forgot in the trunk on hot days. I eventually changed it up in favor of micro fiber towels, which, I must say I like much more.

It wouldnt not dry the car to perfection, no matter how I tried. Joel also had one, his ended up in the garbage as well, I wish I would of known he tried it and disliked it...all it did was move the water around.
And I can say, I've religously used the Water Blade for...4 years now, and it has never harmed my paint, not even close...I think my paint looks pretty good for its age as well ;)

Gumball 08-03-2007 06:46 AM

well I guess I cant really dislike something I never tried.
one of these days I'll try a waterblade :P
