AdblockPlus

It would be in the best interest for everyone here to install AdblockPlus into their browser. I know Firefox and Chrome supports it, but I don't know about IE.

If you need to know why I'm pushing for this, PM me.

Any good solutions for mobile? That's where I have legitimately been browser jacked repeatedly by this site.

Already one step ahead of you on desktop ;)

I suggest not using the mobile/tablet version for this site. Or any 'advertising based forum' for that matter. I understand hosting/owners have a right to earn a dollar to maintain said sites, but there is a point to say no more.

Mike. Per your suggestions a few years ago I installed adblock plus, an awesome program.

I also have had ABP running for years now based on Mike's recommendation.
Awesome, reliable, free, and seamless.
New: "The most popular ad blocker for desktop browsers is now available for your Android and iOS devices" & is called Ad Block Browser for your smart phone or Tablet.
I am going to throw the main link here, where you will also see "AdBlock Browser"
https://adblockplus.org/

I'm only recommending it, because here, there are ads galore. Far more than what there used to be.
