Default distrib. cap order

ok so I'm new at this and my 69 wont turn over. Got new plugs, wires, distrib. cap, and coil. It'* getting gas and spark but?????? Hoping the wires to the distrib. are just mixed up. Anyone know what order they should be in, could be a simple miss fire problem .

Did you install new points? (Assuming you haven't upgraded to an electronic ignition). If you have did you gap them properly? If you didn't install new points, could be that your old ones are dirty. My '63 Star Chief is somewhat notorious for the points getting dirty if the car sits for a couple months. When this happens, it either won't start or will start and run like crap (spitting, coughing, etc.). Something you might look at, anyway.
