Buying advice for 1966 Bonneville tri power
Hello:
I am lookin into the purchase of this Bonneville Tri Power 1966 from The Auto Museum in Holbrook NY. What would be a fair asking price?? http://theautomuseum.phanfare.com/al...ageID=32944445 Thanks, Adam |
NADA Says $29,355 for a '66 Convertible with the 421 tri-power, 8 lug rims in Average condition.

I'm interested in knowing opinions on this vehicles collectibility into the future. Is this is "good" one or should I be looking at different Bonneville options? I figured the "tri-power" was something collectors might like..but maybe I'm wrong? |
Wow
I am very jealous. That seems to have all the things a collectors car should have. I would think that the tri-power would be the most desireable, red in color and a convertible. I also think that the 65 and 66 are one of the best looking models of the classics. Looking at Barrett-Jackson's previous auctions, a two door 1965 hardtop went for $25,000 in 2006. This year, a '61 convert went for $33K and a '62 went for $23,500. http://www.barrett-jackson.com/appli....aspx#gridview |
It doesn't get much better than 3 deuces. Did you eventually buy the car? If you did show us some pictures please. I would like to hear about the car. Great year. My favorite is the 65 simply because there was just a bit more chrome on them.

Hemmings Motor News (or something like that) will be your best source for average prices....and a source for parts as well.
