65 BONNEVILLE 389 ELECTRONIC KICKDOWN SWITCH - DETENT SWITCH
 

I NEED A PICTURE OF THE ELECTRONIC KICKDOWN SWITCH SETUP. MY SWITCH IS
NON-FUNCTIONAL AND MY 65 BONNEVILLE CONV 389 WILL NOT DOWNSHIFT. ANY CLUE WHERE
I CAN GET THE SWITCH?. PLEASE SEND CLOSE UP PIC ON THE SETUP, SPECIFICALLY THE
DEPRESSION PLUNGER. IS THERE A RUBBER COVER ON THE PLUNGER?. WHICH CONNECTOR IS
FOR THE TRANS. THE OTHER ONE IS FOR A ANTI POLUTION DEVISE.
ALSO MY BONNEVILLE IS MISSING THE WINDSHIELD WASHER SYSTEM. NO HOSES, BOTTLE OR SPRAY HEARD. I NEED THE PART NUMBERS, SOURCH AND SETUP PICTURES.

The kickdown switch from a 67 up will work better. Its located under the gas pedal instead of the carb.

I am needing the same thing but having trouble locating one....the forums mentioned are down and I contacted them directly

just look through their online catalog and they'll have kickdown switches for 67+ full size cars. Reproduction switch that goes under gas pedal area. You'll have to mount it on you rown though since as you said the 65's had the switch at the carb. It's been done by many
try www.performanceyears.com, they sell the switch too.
Go to PY's forums and search for kickdown switch and you should see a few threads on the subject as well as one showing many people's home made installations.
