Default 1960 Bonneville Tri-power

I'm an automotive photographer working on a 320-page muscle car coffee table book. It'* going to cover 50 years of muscle cars, and the 1960 Bonneville Tri-Power is crutial to the evolution of the muscle car. I'm looking for a stock appearing 1960 Bonneville Tri-Power to photograph. I live in Pasadena, CA, but I travel to the right cars. Thank you for your help!

Dave

I'd suggest you thumb through "Classics (Star Chief and 1957 to 1986)" forum, and look for anyone posting about a 60. Than PM or email that person.

Like lifer said, the older Bonny crowd doesn't frequent a whole heck of a lot.

You can also check www.americaniron.net

I frequent that site, and there are some old-school Bonnevilles there.

Try to PM dnphoto. He/She isn't likely to check back after a year.

Check out their Photo Album.
Although this is from a 1965 Bonneville, it'* a nice pic of the tri-power setup.

I have an original 389 Tri-Power that is out of a 1960 Bonneville but the thing is it is now in a 1960 Ventura. I haven't restored it to its capable beauty yet but it is going to be all original before long.
