3 Deuce 64 is on a distinguished road
Default 1970 Bonneville Convertible

Just dropped in to say I picked up my 3rd B body last November . I received an email from a fellow club member asking me if I might know anyone interested in this car and there was a picture attached of the 70 Bonne . I became addicted to the GTOs and other A bodies in the mid 70s owning over 20 GTOs and well over 100 other A body Pontiacs and Buicks . In2008 I bought my first B body a 1964 Catalina and then a 1968 Catalina . I've been on the hunt for a 63 or 64 Bonne but they have started getting out of my reach . So when this Bonne convertible came along I had to go check it out . The owners bought the car new in 70 and drove it until 92 . It was then parked in their back yard , yes you heard it right their back yard and there it sat for the next 21 years until I bought it and brought home. The previous owner did put gravel down and the plastic over that and put a portable shelter over the car . The shelter eventually collapsed and then the car was just wrapped in a tarp . He did start it from time to time until about 5 years ago then the car just sat . When I saw the car I couldn't believe the condition it was in for have been sitting as long as it had been, so we struck a deal and I'm in the process of saving another Pontiac . A couple factors that pushed me into saving it were it'* a convertible only 3537 or close to that number were built , last year of the high compression motors 10.25 -1 370 HP 500 FPT . The car has factory rally gages ,wheels and a posi . We actually had to get the car running to get it out of where it had been parked all those years . It is currently downstairs in the garage under my house where I have been tinkering on it off and on over the winter . We did a valve job on the car inside the motor was clean and no ridges in the cylinders . floors and trunk pans are solid another unbelievable circumstance . The original interior is almost mint . so the prognosis is very good this car will be back alive soon and a strong possibility a cruiser for this summer . The really neat thing about this car is how unmolested and original it is . To me this was a great find and I'm excited about getting it road worthy again .
