Default 99 Malibu Fuel pump repair

So the Fuel pump on the Malibu took a flaming dump. So I see I can get just the pump and not the whole module. I know on the Bonneville it'* a quick exchange. But anyone know on the Malibu if it'* a do able feat or is everything all sealed and I need the whole module?

I have changed just the pump in the past, but the plastic module around it is very fragile, mainly because of age. Also the wires become brittle and the circut board for gauge damages easily.
Usually best just get the whole module.

moved to it'* proper Mechanical Section. General Chat is for items that affect all platforms and "General Chat". It really helps the GearHeads, others with ownership of same/similar Models, the Forum regarding search bots, and our own internal search engine when we keep things in order. Thanx.
