Instrument Panel won't work after bulb repair
 

I was helping a friend tonight with a job I've done many times. Half of his instrument panel lights were out, so I replaced them for him. When I put the cluster back in the backlights were working, the turn signals work, the check engine light would work but nothing else...all the guages would not work, and the gear shift indicator and odometer numbers were not working. I assume I spiked something when I replaced the bulbs. Is this an issue that's fatal to the cluster? ...... Last time I help a friend :)

What kind of vehicle?

Did you check to make sure the wire connector going to the cluster was connected all the way?

Confirm all wire connectors are properly engaged, and check every fuse.
