How many did they make? ;~{ Impala Supercharged SS's.
 

I just ordered a pizza from the pizza shack 2 blocks away. Went to get the pizza and on my way I drove by a 2005 Impala SS (supercharged) at the next door neighbors.

Coming home and on the opposite side of the same block there is a driveway with TWO 2004 Indy Pace Car Edition Impala Supercharged SS's.

Just thought that was interesting. I should have stopped since they both had their hoods open. Would be sweet to know I'm not the only 3800 freak in town. 8)

they had pace car impalas? thought they were only monte carlos

I've seen a few Impala SS's (L67s) around.... and the police have had the L67s for a while in their Impala cruisers.

Really? I thought they had L36's with beefed up gearing, 3.33?

They do have souped up L36 and better gearing and a booster of some kind! See the GM's website for details! They say they can run a 130mph! :D Wish my Impala did that!

they started the L67 in the Impala and the Monte in 2004 i believe, there are a few around, but hte Pace Car was a limited prouuction, maybe 500 or so
