Question About line from the engine
Hi guys, i have a question theres a plastic line that comes from the back of the engine and then pass thru the upper side of the coolant reservoir and then goes down again thru the back of the battery and then it connects to the electric cables.
whats the name of that line?, cause someone broke it, and now i have to replace it.
the car is impala ls 2000 3.8L V6

If it is really broken, then there should be the other end somewhere in the vicinity of the other end.
Up close pictures can help too.

If I'm honest, it doesn't look stock from what I can tell in the pic. My guess is that someone installed it aftermarket, or self done most likely. I also think i spy what looks like a fuse holder near the battery.
My guess is that it is a dedicated electrical run, for something like lights, a horn, etc. With that guess in place, my money is on it going to the firewall, or at least it did.
I would check lights and everything to make sure everything is working. I also agree that more closer pics would be a great help.

I'm surprised that it is. That small one is the vacuum line that goes to your HVAC control head. It'* what changes from floor to vents to defrost etc. Do they actually work right?
