Radio Draw
I have a 2.20 draw on my car,when I pulled the radio fuse it goes to .061..i did change my radio a while ago,if i pull the amp plugs it goes to 1.75 amps..I have 3 different radios that show the same draw and they are all Factory Radios..2004 Monte carlo..any ideas? amp? bad ground?

Something is keeping the radio awake.
If you can find the schematics somewhere, find where your class 2 data wire is on the radio and disconnect it temporarily. The radio always has power on it, when the PCM is awake, it sends the command to wake the radio up. Or even some other idiotic module because they are all daisy chained via the Class 2 data bus.

But that'* the easy part. If you disconnect the wire and find that the radio turns off, well now the hard part comes. Trying to find out why the radio is being commanded on.

When you do the draw test, how long do you wait for the reading? Immediately? One minute? Five minutes? ten minutes? 15 minutes?
You have nothing on....no key in the ignition...no underhood light....

Here'* something you might want to check as well... If your car has a "premium" stock system with an external amplifier/amplifiers, an internal short in the deck itself could send voltage to the wire that wakes up those amplifiers.
This actually happened to me on a Lincoln Town Car Cartier Edition and a Mercury Villager, it'* entirely possible the head unit is sending voltage to turn on the external amplifier.
Most likely, Mike is on the right track, especially since GM feeds warning chimes through the stereo instead of having a separate module for that now. There would have to be circuitry that tells the radio to turn on to generate the chime, and if there was an issue with this, your radio might be powered all the time.
If you have the radio delay (where the radio stays on after you turn the ignition off, at least until you open a door) that might be one "feature" to look at. They make cars a lot more complicated than they reall need to be. As a result, there'* more stuff to go wrong, and it'* harder to troubleshoot usually. :-\

You have to make sure all the modules are "asleep".......
With nothing on, no key in the ignition, all doors closed, underhood light off/disconnected, disconnect the neg battery cable...install a bolt into the neg battery terminal.....now get a jumper with alligator clips, and jumper the bolt to the neg battery cable.......leave this like this, for 20 minutes.......now, turn on meter and set your amp meter for the largest amp scale, and attach alligator clips to the probe ends...attach alligator clips on the probes to the bolt and the neg battery cable, then remove the jumper cable.....your reading should be less than 30 ma, or 0.030 Amp.....if still 2.2 amps, you still have a draw....don't worry if the reading is negative, it just means you have the leads reversed....
If you are taking readings right away, instead of waiting about 20 minutes, some modules could be awake, and cause a high reading......they should go to sleep before 20 minutes, but 20 minutes for this vehicle should guarantee that they are all asleep....
