Chevy Impala won't start while headlights are on....?
 

I got an 06 Impala which has been through 3 batteries in the last 3 1/2 years. Car has an automatic lights where the lights come on when the key is turned. I've awoken up to dead battery on more than three occasions and it's very inconvenient. When set the headlights from automatic to off, and start the car, the battery works fine and the car starts normally. I remember last week I went to the grocery store for 30 minutes, come back and nothing, no radio, no crank, no lights, completely dead! Alternator, starter both are fine. Has anyone had this issue of random parasitic draw?

I have a 04 impala myself and i would have the same problem with the automatic light system.im gunna say it randomly stopped and jjumped to a theft problem...i would say check a light relay or the wiring to check if its not stuck??if not try a obd scanner to see if any electronic trouble code pops up.Good luck hope it helps
