anyone know where the camshaft position sensor is located at on a 09 chevrolet cobalt ls.

so by the looks of it the camshaft position sensor is located on the back of the motor where the exhaust connected up to the motor then ?

That part, I'm not sure of. But after more googling, I found another diagram. It appears to be on the right side of the engine.

sorry can someone delete that post i just made. what i was gonna say is i just replace one of them which was the front right one but i can't find the other one ?

According to the diagrams, you have 2 cam actuators(which are the 2 in front of the engine) and 1 cam position sensor at the rear of the engine. Sounds like you might have replaced one of the actuators instead.

yup i sure do i gotta replace the one for the exhaust and that should do the trick just gotta stop by the dealer ship tomorrow to order it since its a dealer only item. but thanks for your help if i run into anything eles ill lets you know .
