camaro Build *Project thread*
Hehe got the idea from my buddy Mikeal..Gonna retrofit an M62 to my 3.1 for the camaro..Not with that ebay adapter either...Here is the rough idea it will be milled to the shape of the charger...Here are some pics of the rough work...Eventually the camaro is getting an L67 but this is my setup plan of attack for now BWAHAHAHA

ehh stock 3.1 is 140...So we will see my buddy said it should be around 240 but idk if a M62 is that capable..Now im in the market for an M62 and idlers n ****
but for now I have some more milling to do yet and a bit of other fab work but its bassically going to blow into the top of the manifold and the old manifold tb location will get capt off and the air will come in from the */c utilizing the 3.1 TB and MAF along with a FMU im goin to cut it as flat as possible within .001'* of an inch so I can put a gasket in there and mount it down sealed between the plate and the intake manifold and then im gona cut a huge hole in the top and the */c is already flat so I just have to cut it so the */c air can flow through into the intake tv cable is going to have to move along with the iac and tps sensors, Idk if their leads will meet to be lengthened to make it work..This will obviously require a custom Hood too!

You know thats not a tune right? At most you'll get another 2lb/hr to 4lb/hr of fuel flow. For example. I just upgraded my 28lb/hr injectors with 40lb/hr injectors. That lets me go from 2psi boost to 12psi. If I added only another 2lb/hr, I could go from 2psi to 3psi.
I have them running at the max fuel pressure that they'll run at... 55psi. Any higher than that and the pintle will have a hard time opening.
Also, if you install larger fuel injectors without retuning, you will NOT be able to even start the car. You stock injectors are 16 or 19lb/hr. L67s are 36lb/hr. That means that l67 injectors on a stock tune will nearly double the amount of fuel even at idle.
Just saying... BEWARE OF FMUs! There is no easy fuel solution when adding boost to a motor.

Talk to RobertISaar. He will tell you eveything you need to do to tune your camaro for boost. He may even be able to burn you a chip to just drop in.
Also, you need to get the MAP sensor off of an l67 car. The stock MAP sensor is not capable of reading boost and the computer will have no idea there'* extra air in there.
