My 2005 Chevy Tahoe had the mirror glass cracked (and a little more damage also). I took the glass out and the circle came out also with the pins that go into the motors. There is a nipple on the center plastic piece that the circle piece clicks into. That broke also. I got a new mirror glass and went to put ut it back together and realized that I need that new plastic piece the holds the actuator motors. I went to the junk yard and found another broken mirror that had the actuator component intact. I am at a loss on how to replace this piece? There are 2 screws that hold each motor in place, and I pulled the back off the one from the junk yard and it looks like there may be 4 screws holding the actuator housing in place, but have no Idea on how to get to them. Any help on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post pictures showing what you are trying to replace? Look for screws at the bottom on the outside of the mirror housing.

They less clear one shows the mirror and the nipple that the round piece with the slash through it mounts on was broken off. I glued it, but the nipple is ware so it does not snap into place. The other 2 pictures are of the one that I got from the junk yard from the front and back. From the back, it looks like there are 4 screws holding it in place, but they don't line up with the 4 in the front. I think those are 2 each for each motor. any suggestions or does anyone have a parts diagram for this?
