Default 2011 Chevy Lumina SS

So I'm doing a little Google searching for this "Lumina SS" since we have been seeing some odd pictures lately. Well, I have to say this new V8 SS is one bad @ss car! Check out this article real quick and the shots of the SS. This is one great looking ride!!!

The G8 is gone and helllllllllllllloooooooooooooooooo Lumina SS

Hmm I don't mind it coming back as a Lumina. Better than as a Caprice as what the original plan was to keep the G8 alive.

The Lumina SS would be hot! I would deffinately look to get one. I had a 1999 Lumina LTZ with the 3800 and besides the 95 SSE, that was the best car I ever owned!

I'm thinking the Caprice will be on the longer wheelbase "Statesman" chassis, where the Lumina will remain on the G8/Commodore chassis. The Lumina was the Middle East export of the past few years, so all of the cosmetic items have already been developed. Once the crash/EPA testing is completed, we should see these showing up in the dealerships, provided GM doesn't pull another fast one on us.

Caprice/Lumina is on the same frame/chassis. Lumina will be the civilian model while the Caprice will be a cop car.

Damn that thing is hot. Lumina or not, I'd love to drive one. I knew they couldn't let the G8 go in the wind like that.
