Default Cobalt Sound

Once again my front speakers are intermittent thus no warning or signal sounds as well as radio sounds. 2009 Cobalt LT - The sound disappeared about 62,000 k and I had it repaired in November 2012. They advised that speakers were replaced but now in four months it is again happening. Has anyone else had this issue? What is a good fix, other than selling the thing?
Thanks

put aftermarket speakers in it, there are a bunch that take into account being in a wet/snowy vibrating location. where gm doesnt seem to care

go to sonic electronics put in your cars info and pick a decent brand. says to pull the speaker first and verify mounting depth.
either of these would be good brands, or alpine, polk, rockford, mtx. just dont get the cheap chinese ones
