Fuel Tank Issue
A friend of mine got a 90 DeVille (I think) and she states that whenever she turns (either right or left) the car stalls. I told her it might be a leak in the rubber lines in the sending unit but wouldn't be able to tell for sure until I got a look at it. The problem is that she'* almost 1000 miles away. I told her to register on here and see what info she could find out.
Since I don't own a caddy, I couldn't tell her a definite answer but I DID look up in my FSM and saw that the Buicks have to have the tanks dropped in order to do anything. I told her this may or may not be the case.
She just got the car in December.
Can anyone help?

I believe there are baffels in the tank that help keep the gas from sloshing around, those may have come loose. She can drop the tank to have it fixed, or just keep the tank above 1/4.

That'* something I never thought of. Her car was treated like my Park Ave. garaged most of it'* life, hardly driven, pnly hers was driven by a little old lady to and from the store. Things tend to get old and break after a while. I'll relay the message to her (and remind her to get on here, herself)
Thanks for the suggestion.
