Procedure to R&R the A/C Accumulator Hose/Pipe
Guess I should do a closer spell check of my subject titles, HUH?
Anyone have the "hows" to r&r the accumulator hose on my 99 Century Custom? The A/C Accumulator hose/pipe wore through at hose portion which has rubbed against the steering "tower" where it comes from the cabin floor to the rack and pinion main unit. The local dealer parts manager says he'* never seen this hose/pipe ordered for these year/series of Buicks in his career. 
I can't find anything anywhere about it and I cannot afford to have it done. It appears the entire ABS block has to be loosened/removed along with the air box and air cleaner plus the air tube to the intake. AND I don't know what else. It'* evident they didn't look toward ever having to replace this pipe/hose. Murphy'* Law, RIGHT? Any Help Out There Before My Beard Grows This Long? I AM this old but have short whiskers.

GM part and repair manual on CD
Found the CD with all the parts and repair/replacement directions with drawings for all GM cars from 97 to 05 so I guess I'll pull out of the site since no-one seems interested in anwering questions about Centurys. Got the CD off ebay for about ten bucks and it has every car they made and every repair procedure they ever produced for those years. Amazed me it is that complete. See ya all round some other time I guess.

You happened to find the couple days where a guy in the know wasn't around. Sometimes it takes us a min.
Sounds like you are talking about the hose that runs from the orifice tube area and or the firewall to the accumulator?
You can gain access by removing the two 15mm master cylinder nuts, then going into the wheel well for 3 10mm nuts that hold the abs bracket to the strut tower and maybe pulling the bolts for the cruise module. Then you are on limited movement flexible brake hoses. It does give you some room.
