Where should i start, i read that it could be gas cap, bad fuel, vacuum leak any ideas will help, thanks

P0496, evaporative emission system high flow purge.

Not a lot of information on this. But from what I can see it sounds like the purge valve may be bad.

It'* right behind the throttle body on the upper intake manifold. Generally no, it'* a valve that opens and closes. If it'* stuck you will get a high flow error.

cool i found it on rockauto is it the valve or solenoid? is installation just plug and play type?

thanks again for your help, also before the SES light at idel the car jumps rmp only by 100 rpm hardly noticable is that because of the valve too or i have a small vacuum leak

Should be just remove it, and install new one. If the valve is stuck open then ya, it'* basically a vacuum leak.

I can't say for certain, I'm not looking at your car. But from what information you have given me and what I can tell, the purge valve solenoid is the problem, stuck open. The part you have listed appears to be the correct part. EVAP codes can be a real pain, but your code seems to point to that part.
