1994 Buick PA headlights staying on
Wht would cause them to stay on while the ignition is off? I have unpluged the switch and the twilight switch and they still stay on. I have removed fuses and almost everything but the Lamp control Module.
If its the Lamp Control Module, where can I find it? How can I take it out without taking the whole dsah out? And the best thing, where can I find a replacment at? I can't for the life of me find it!
On other thing, the front air compressor keeps turning on when the ignition is off as well. How can I get it to turn off till the ignition is on?
Thanks
Billy

The air compressor works regardless of the ignition key. If it running intermittently with the key off, your rear shocks are leaking. They did in my 92 PA. I used to just pull a wire off the air compressor at night until I replaced them. I'm assuming yours on on the right hand side of the engine bay like my 92. Not sure about the lamp module, we have some Buick owners in the Forum. One should chime in as the day goes on.

Finaly I found a forum that replied!!!!
Ok, since I am going to resale this car looks like I will be installing a switch for the compressor. Or can I wire the power wire from the compressor to the ignition? Where the compressor only comes on when the ingnition is on?

Hey, check the bottom of the index page at the stats! LOL. We are the real deal for GM cars and a very active Forum thats likes welcome new people aboard.
I used to just pull the clip, but a cheap toggle switch would prolly save you a scrape and dirty fingers. I remember that clip coming off hard. I wouldn't put it onto the ignition itself it being its a high amp item. See if you can tap it onto the fusebox on a spare thats on with the key. Does your cig lighter work with the ignition?
