The whistle is very normal on the series 2 3.8 engines.

But it is a vacuum leak ?

No it's usually the air whistling past the throttle plate. I'm sure if it had a vacuum leak it would set a code.

OK , I decide to take one last shot and give a chance to the TransGo shift kit .
Is someone that kit helped ?

It helped my 4t65-E without doubt, nice quick shifts now and eliminated the harsh ones, I highly recommend it. I got mine from triple edge performance which has everything you will need including the filter. :thumbup2

thanks ! how much parts the kit include ?
from what i heard it's only a few springs that you install in the aacumulator .
your transmission had a hard shift when it was hot ?

Yes, I was getting hard shifts after the transmission had warmed up, especially in city stop and go traffic. The Transgo shift kit itself includes springs and spacers that you use in the 1-2 and 2-3 accumulator bores. Triple edge performance includes the Transgo kit, plus new piston O-rings, a new accumulator hard seal, a scuff pad, and a quality transmission filter. The only thing else you will need is Dex VI. Use a little transmission fluid on on the pad when scuffing the bores and compressed air to make sure every thing is squeaky clean before re-assembling.
