Hi I own a 95 Buick Riv and was driving home today and smelled gas. Popped hood to take a look and noticed a very fine mist of gas coming from somewhere. It didn't take long to see where it was coming from. Its the feed line that supplys the rail. It is a black rubber coated line with a few angled bends that connects with a yellow quick disconnect at the rail. Its not the one with the yellow flammable sticker on it. Its next to it. I guess they call it the feed line for rail? Anyway could someone get me a part number for this and maybe even to save me some money and tell me if it is possible to wrap it with something to stop leak? Thanks

Sounds like the O-ring went bad. Go to a parts store and pick up new O-rings. Replace them and you should be all set.

I know this is an old thread but I just went through the same thing. The line itself gets a pinhole and I cut out the bad section and used a 3/8 nylon to nylon union. The GM part # is 25604896, discontinued from GM. There are some NOS at a few dealers.

Yeah I did find it supposedly available at a few places but it is discontinued from GM. I needed a quick fix as it'* a daily driver. When funds allow I will purchase a new one to be safe. For now the union has been fine.

First off, I'll say if it is doing as you describe, then do NOT drive it anymore until repairing it, you risk setting the car on fire.
I have the same problem, and I am currently working on fixing it.
There are a few ways of getting this fixed.
A delership will tell you that you have to replace the whole fuel line, but that is BS.
There are ways to go from nylon to a AN line, but I do not know much about that.
There is also a doorman nylon fuel line repair kit, with ti you could get a new fitting with the o rings already installed, and just cut the line, then use the tool to attach the new fitting.

I am not yet 100% sure, but this should be the o ring you need to fix the nylon fuel rail fitting, you will need two of them, the innermost o ring is tougher to see/get out, but with a good pick it is easy to remove.

This should be the o ring you need, remember to order two of them.
I know it says fuel filter seal, but I am almost positive it is the right one.

If you do not have a pick set then here is the set I bought for the repair, I used the second pick going from left to right.


Make sure you know what you are doing if you attempt this yourself, fuel pressure has to be relieved properly!
