Default power steering pump failure

Hello I have a 95 Buick skylark custom 4 cyl. In the past 3 years I have gone through 2 new power steering pumps, same way they seem to blow the plate with the ring holding it.(in the middle of the bolts that hold it.) now I do have a limited lifetime warranty on the pump. But its getting old putting a new pump in every year or 2. I don't know why this is happening or what could be causing it. Any ideas?

Non OEM pumps are probably bad remans........have you flushed the fluid when you replaced the pump?

YEp....gotta flush with every swap....remans are junk....oem is the way to go.....if it were me, I wouldn't get the reman, but if money is tight and you can do the R&R yourself, I would deal with two year replacement issues my self
