Default Ticking noise from engine

1990 oldsmobile eighty eight royale

For since i have had my car, its made a ticking noise from the eingie. It really quite annoying and ive never been able to figure it out. I dont think its a big problem since its been running fine all the time but its just an irritant.
Take a look at these videos and you will see what im talking about.

Idleing: http://media.putfile.com/Idle88
Shutting off, it makes a weird noise, like a cough: http://media.putfile.com/Growl16

General Info:
-Noise is coming from the back of the engine(the end near the cabin)
-Catalytic converter rattled last year but doesn't anymore, even if i hit it meaning that it all probally broke up and went out the back
-I opened the cap where you fill the oil while it was running and can tell that its not coming from them.
-Gets faster as i rev the engine

ANY help or ideas are very welcome. THX

EDIT: Another video of the camera going around the engine and opening the oil cap

So does anyone know how to fix this or is this just normal?

This is one of those things I just don't lose sleep over. I noticed my Olds has that slight tick you described and occasionally my car will "cough". But unless your car "Shakes, Rattles and Rolls" I would just turn the radio up a little louder.
