Park Avenue headlight bulbs

Hi,
I own a 2004 Buick Park Avenue N/A. I recently purchased a set of headlights from the ZZ Performance website and i was just looking around under the hood as to how i would put them in. Is the only way to take out the headlights, or is there an easier way?

Yes, you have to take out the headlight assemblies. I found a nifty video of it here: https://www.carcarekiosk.com/video/1...ghts/headlight

If you can't get your hand behind the assembly(sometimes there is rubber cover on each bulb), then the whole assembly has to come out.......

The housing has to to be pulled back a bit to remove the connector/bulbs.
The thumb screws are generally in there tight, so I used a 3/8 socket type torx bit to get em free.

Once the screws are removed, the housing are in there tight, and have a locator dowel pin closest to fender.
Pull back on the housing, closest to grille side first, and it should then pop out.
One screw is long the other is short. I dipped the bottom of threads in engine oil, before re-assembly.
I recently installed Sylvania ZXE for low beams. The old PIAA's were dim after 4 years.
