2002 Century Front end noise
Hello,
I picked up a 2002 Buick Century and am in the process of getting it all nice again.
It has some noise coming from the LF corner. It is a growling noise that gets louder as speed increases, but does not change in pitch. Nor does the noise change as I turn. I have replaced both wheel hubs, and that helped - no noise from the right side - but the growling persists on the left. Applying the brake does not change the noise, the sound level just decreases as the car slows down.
I would appreciate any thoughts you may have.
Thanks!

Since the next logical rotational part would be the Cv/half shaft, any tears in boot?
May even want to get it up on a lift & use an auto stethoscope.
May be able to pinpoint the growl quickly, while the tires are spinning.

So I replaced the brake pads today, and as I was pumping the brakes back up, a line burst.
So, that will be taking my time tomorrow while I find which one popped, and replace it.

Brake line replacement, is not a bad job but i for one hate them lol... Idk why it just gets me in tht mood where i drop everything n walk away n hav to come bak later lol....
But far as the noise goes, cv axle would be the next guess or possibly maybe even the brake dust shield? Tire rubbing?
