Default Adjusting brake pedal freeplay

My mom'* 2004 Jeep Liberty'* (3.7L) breaks are super touchy. Just breathing on them is enough to send you through the windshield.

I want my breaks to be like that.

Could I adjust my break pedal freeplay to "preload it", if so how do I do that?

I've resurfaced my rotors, got new pads, bled my breaks with synthetic fluid (all new fluid now).

But my breaks are still pretty mushy. My break light isn't on either...

I have a 1991 Buick Riviera it appears that I have the BOSCH ABS system as there is a computer on the driver'* side labled "BOSCH".[/b]

sometimes the break system are just mushy like that. it seems like the newer cars are much more touchy. also the bosch thing could just be the brand of part for the computer as i was not aware there was a bosch brake system.
