flywheel holder or other ideas?
any one have a source for a 3800 flywheel holder 2001 buick regal
or do every one jam a big screwdriver in the teeth of flywheel to toque the balancer maybe old trick is to take out a spark plug with piston down then put a lot of rope in the cylinder to keep the eng from moving but was most used to change valve stem seals to keep the valves from falling down when the springs were taken off or do most get out the big 1/2 snap on inpact gun and zap it on I guess 99% of shops do that but we care more how things are done here |
Grammar and punctuation is a must here. I can't tell if your asking a question, making a statement or ????
Please, for the sake of the forum and all who read the posts here. |

I did some internet searching using the keyword 'flywheel stop' and got just about everything I ever hoped for. If you want the specific tool for the specific application, you may need to search for the number of the tool listed in the FSM.

As per my FSM, J37096 is the PROPER tool needed to secure the flexplate.
