Engine died on highway

Is that the one we affectionately called the "Bitch Bolt" on the Grand Prix? That sucka down deep that went through to the tranny and required lots of extensions and a tight universal swivel so the socket didn't flop around? After pulling our first blown L67 my son popped, we gave up on all the hassle of removing just the engine and started yanking the engine/tranny as one piece.

LOL, yea, the backwards trans bolt can be a beeyotch. I never used a wobbly getting to that bolt. Don't need it. If you put together many short extensions, then you get the wiggle in the extensions needed to navigate between the trans and engine. I do it all the time.

I think they may be looking for an actual walk-through for every step involved.
I know we have Dan'* writeup for 96-99'*, I did not see any writeup for any other years though.

His writeup can still be used. The engine is the same 1995-2005 for all platforms. But when it comes to a body style, obviously some trim pieces or wheel wells are going to be different. Maybe even some engine mounts. But the key thing here to remember is, if you got the tools and knowledge to do this in your own driveway, they should be technical enough to figure out different mounts and things.
