Default Rendezvous Trans Temp with ScanGauge

Hi all,
I am trying to get my ScanGauge II to display transmission temperature and engine oil temperature. I have tried using the XGauge commands for the CANSF protocols to get these to display, but so far I have had no luck. Has anyone been able to do this?

Thanks!

I know some DIC'*(no pun intended) do show oil temp, but never seen one to show trans temp. With that said, If your PCM is already setup to monitor oil temp, then your scan gauge should be able to monitor it. Unless the scanner was programmed incorrectly to poll that data.

I would get with the manufacturer to see what they say. Engine oil temp and trans temp are actually generic values.

Do you mean the manufacturer of the ScanGauge?

alot of things dont show up on gms, they seem to have determined it not important. on my 07 there is not even a pressure reading in the pcm let alone temp. my yukon reads trans oil temp and i think the 07 does too but not engine oil, alot of times it goes to a gauge in the cluster, not the computer. the ops is a switch that is go/no go.
