hello im a new user here! was looking for help in finding production numbers for the 90 buick lesabre, specifically for the 2 door that i own. was told they built less than 2000 coupes that year. i never saw many, even back in the day. any help is appreciated. this spring i plan to yank the stock 3800 (165 horse i think) and drop in a supercharged 3800 from a 96 park ave ultra (220 horse if i recall).

kind of reminds me of the LeSabre T-Type......but those were made from '87-'89....they were two door beauties....

Putting in a OBD II engine in an OBD I car means changing, ECM to PCM, new wiring harnesses, and that tranny in the '90 won't be compatible....

thank you rjolly87! clicked on that t-type forum link and found my answer! only 1855 coupes built in 1990. thanks softride for reposting my post in da buick section. brain fart on my part! btw i have the tranny, harness, and ecm along with da supercharged 3800. i figure it should be easier to drop in the complete package. less hacking that way and worrying if the original tranny will work correctly with the new engine. now just a matter of putting aside the time and getting motivated
