Help quick question
Ok havng a hard time finding where the rear drivers side plug wire is supposed to be routed...righ now it runs behing the 02 sensor...not between the 02 and the engine but rather behnd t...I put hi temp nylon loom over it...
The loom keeps melting I suume from the heat of the exhaust manfold ???
Now if I leave the loom off will the wire melt ??? Or do they handle the higher temp...or should I route it in front of the 02 ?? I know the 02 gets hot too so it shouldnt touch the wire....
Thx guys pic would be great

Pull the slack in the wire back so the extra sits on top of the intake manifold. Sounds to me like you have all the slack down near the plugs. You want the wire tight to the engine and between the O2 sensor and the engine, not behind the O2 sensor. I have loom on my wires where they cross the top of the engine, but not down by the plugs. Loom is good for abrasion protection but probably won't stand up to the temperatures right above the exhaust manifold.
