Default Battery Voltage Light off and on 1993 Park Avenue Ultra

I have a 1993 Buick Park Avenue Ultra
Im experiencing a dashboard issue that I have had on the last 3 buicks I have owned (all Park Avenues a 95 Ultra and a 95 Base)
All of them have had an issue where the little red warning dot on the Voltage gauge blinks on and off the entire time its running, it has a new alternator and seems to be fine
The other cars I owned did this as well? Is there a common issue with them that can be fixed?

does it do it when the voltage is low like at idle? there is a write up on here on how to add a sense wire to cars that dont have one, if you run the alt sense wire to somewhere inside it can better tell how much voltage to put out

Before assuming that the battery and alternator are fine, I'd get them load tested (free at any Advance Auto, Auto Zone, etc) if you haven't already done that.

Maybe it is a gremlin, or maybe it'* actually a voltage problem.
