Default Transmission Question

I have a buick regal and it is supercharged in need of a transmission. What are my options? Am I limited to only one type of transmission? Are there other ways around in replacing my burnt transmission? Any help would be much appreciated.

Ski, go to www.car-part.com and type in your model and year..........should give you a good idea what else will fit in your car

Moved to Other 3800 powered cars.

Rhett, after doing the search, it looks like Grand Prix'* and Regals are your best option. I thought you had a used trans lined up already? It had to be a 4t65e-HD.

My car no longer drives forward. I believe the TC is now trashed. It threw a TC sensor code at me about a month ago. If the TC is crap, and there is metal in the fluid, does this make my tranny automatically bad and in need of a new one?
