Maybe I've never paid much attention, maybe I've ignored it.
But it seems like torque bias from my 2004 LeSabre always goes to the driver front wheel and not the passenger side. Is that normal?
Its not an HD trans, and its dead stock. I've never changed out anything in the trans, including the diff. Both front bearings have been changed out twice since I've owned it, last time was less than a month ago. Both sides torqued to spec.
Every other FWD vehicle I've owned or driven would always spin the right front. Torque steer would shift it to the left on hard acceleration. Mine seems to do just the opposite. (Of course, with trac off, not on.)
Occasionally, I can get the right front only to spin, but only if I am unloading that side on a hard right hand turn, then I get a bit of spin from it. Any other time, in a straight line, I stomp on it, and the left front spins, but not the right.
It actually seems to take hard right turns without a problem, but gets out of line more easily taking a hard left.
As far as I know, its always done this. But it can't be normal, can it? If it isn't normal, then what is going on here? I've speculated that maybe the right front caliper gets stuck, so it shifts the bias to the other side, but its not a recent thing.
Any ideas?

You do realize you have two different length axles right?

Yep. Considering I blew up 2 cheap pairs of chinese made junk ones before I got 2 OEM ones to put in there.
I know that axle length makes a difference, since the driver side is shorter, the force has less weight to try to turn.
But even so, I've had other cars, (my Cruiser for one) that lights up the right front, every time. Our Neon, our Caravan, my friends Hondas, all do the same. Even my Escort I had years ago did the same. And the difference in axle length on the Cruiser is even more pronounced than on the LeSabre. I've changed those out many times.
